Our pre-school programme is the heart and soul of the Onyx family. Designed especially for our young stars, these classes offer a magical introduction to the world of performing arts.

Each fun-filled Performing Arts Combo session combines singing, acting, and ballet in an exciting hour that sparks imagination and creativity.

Our engaging and dynamic Dance Combo classes help children build rhythm, resilience, and collaboration - all while having lots of fun! Every session is carefully designed to keep pre-schoolers stimulated, active, and inspired, while developing the 3 C’s: Confidence, Coordination, and Creativity.

We also offer a unique Phonics Booster session, delivered by a qualified teacher, to give your child an extra head start in their early learning journey.

In our nurturing and supportive environment, children develop key performance skills, grow in confidence, and build meaningful friendships. Just as importantly, they begin to learn invaluable life skills—such as listening, following instructions, taking turns, and working together.

Performing Arts Combo

Ballet - The perfect introduction to ballet for your young dancers, offering a fun and engaging way to explore the world of movement and music.

Through both visual and auditory instruction, we focus on developing coordination, body awareness, strength, and flexibility. Each week our classes encourage creativity and build confidence as we embark on exciting adventures all whilst dancing to specially curated music which captures the elegance and beauty of classical ballet. Props are used throughout the sessions to help support tactile awareness while strengthening fine motor coordination and control.

Singing - Our Little Dynamites explore their voices through playful songs, musical games, and simple vocal exercises.

Acting - Hop aboard our time machine and journey to a magical world where imagination knows no bounds! This drama class is designed to spark creativity and expand young minds as they embark on thrilling adventures.

Students also have the option to take the 'Trinity Stars Young Performers Award' accreddted by Trinity College London.

Dance Combo

Get ready to turn, jump and tap your toes!

This lively combo class introduces the basics of jazz, tap, and hip-hop/street dance. This all in one exciting session is designed to build confidence, coordination, and a love for dance. Our class supports young dancers in building strength, control, and balance, while reaching key coordination milestones in a fun and energetic setting.

Dancers will also begin to develop their musical ear, rhythm, and individual style. Throughout the session, props are used to enrich the experience, enhancing tactile awareness and strengthening fine motor skills through creative play.
